Edie

Edie is our foundation queen and the first Ragdoll we owned. She is a blue mitted with a narrow white blaze and a white chin, nine years old now, with slate points and a body coat that has shaded to a soft pewter, as pointed cats do with age. She had five litters over five years and was retired and spayed in 2023. Hugo is her son. We have continued her echocardiograms into retirement, and the most recent, at eight, was normal. That matters to everyone who owns one of her descendants. She has the run of the house, sleeps on the radiator cover from October to April, and takes personal charge of the Christmas tree every December.
