Hal

Hal is our senior stud, a seal bicolor of seventeen pounds with heavy bone, a broad modified wedge and a flat plane between the ears. His inverted V is wide and open, his nose leather is pink, and his ears, tail and saddle are a warm seal that is still deepening at four. He is a TICA Double Grand Champion, shown lightly as a young adult, and the studio portraits here were taken the week he finished. He came to us at sixteen weeks from a cattery in Ohio whose lines we had followed for several years. He is N/N for the Ragdoll HCM mutation and for PKD1, and his fourth echocardiogram, in April 2026, was normal. His dam is blue, so Hal carries dilute and sires both seal and blue kittens. He is an unhurried cat. He greets visitors at the door, goes limp when lifted in the way the breed is meant to, and has never been known to raise his voice. He passes on his bone, his eye color and that temperament with great consistency.
