Ida

Ida is a seal bicolor we bred ourselves, out of our first stud and our old bicolor queen Flyleaf. She has dark seal ears, a warm seal mask split by a tall, narrow inverted V, a pink nose and a coat so white through the body that visitors take her for a much paler cat until she turns her head. She is N/N for HCM and PKD1, and her echocardiogram in May 2026 was normal. Her sire was blue, so she carries dilute. Bred to Hal, who is also a bicolor, she produces bicolor, colorpoint and high-white kittens in seal and in blue. Her first litter, this spring, was three kittens and she raised them without putting a foot wrong. Ida spends most of the day flat on her side across whichever doorway has the most traffic.
